The Prevalence of Depression and Anxiety Among Medical Students in Taibah University During the COVID-19 Pandemic: A Cross-Sectional Study

Objectives: The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the health care system, economic sector, and social life. Studies have examined prevalence of mental disorders related to in general population, but few studies this among medical students. aim study was assess level depression anxiety during students at Taibah University. Methods: A cross-sectional carried out web-based survey distributed between January July 2021. includes Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) addition sociodemographic characteristics. Logistic regression analysis used factors associated with by calculating odds ratios (ORs) 95% confidence intervals (CIs).
